The Drift: What Happens After You Survive?

For years, I wrote about the grind. I ran a blog dedicated to digging out of debt, managing the impossible weight of rising prices, and finding side hustles just to sleep at night.

That was a necessary chapter. But eventually, you have to ask yourself: What happens after you survive?

If you use the tools—the automation, the discipline, the leverage—and you finally clear the path, where do you go next?

Welcome to ChartDrifter.

This site is the next chapter. It isn’t about scraping by anymore. It is about Location Freedom and Financial Independence. It is about taking the concept of “leverage”—whether that’s financial leverage in the markets or technological leverage using AI—and using it to disconnect from the 9-5 geography.

Why “The Drift”?

In technical analysis, there is an old adage: The trend is your friend.

“Drifting” sounds lazy, but in the markets, it is the hardest thing to do. It means suppressing your ego. It means admitting you are not bigger than the market. It requires you to stop fighting the current and simply flow where the capital is going.

I spent years “fighting the tape” in the real world. I endured harsh Canadian winters I didn’t enjoy. I adhered to rigid schedules that fought against my natural energy rhythms and my ADHD.

Now, I realized that fighting the current is inefficient.

ChartDrifter is about the deliberate alignment of your environment, your finances, and your psychology with the path of least resistance.

The Architecture of ChartDrifter

This site is built on five pillars. We don’t just talk about “making money”; we talk about the ecosystem required to enjoy it.

  • The Drift (Why we do it): The core philosophy. Moving away from friction and towards flow. This is where we explore the mindset required to leave the conventional path and design a life you don’t need a vacation from.
  • Trading (How we earn): The engine. Here, I share actual trade setups, technical analysis (Solana, BTC), and post-game reviews. We treat trading as a business, not a casino.
  • Capital (How we grow & save): It’s not just what you make; it’s what you keep. Drawing on my background in tax consulting, we discuss tax efficiency, residency, and preserving wealth across borders.
  • Systems (What tools we use): Efficiency is survival. I share the AI workflows, hardware setups, and automation tools that allow me to operate a high-output business with a minimalist footprint.
  • Logistics (How we move): The practical side of the nomad life. From handling KYC (Know Your Customer) hurdles to finding the best Airbnb for a remote office setup.

Capital Without Borders

I am not a guru. I am not a licensed financial advisor. I am just a student of the markets who realized that being “rich” isn’t about a private jet.

It’s about having the time to drink a London Fog while watching the ocean, knowing your assets are working for you.

Capital has no borders. Neither should we.
